Stay in the know with OBOA! As always, our QBMs offer several timely, important association and industry updates and an open member forum for peer-to-peer discussion. Come with questions and ideas and stay connected to your colleagues with OBOA.

Keynote Presentation Details

There are lots of changes and pertinent questions about the new code changes. OBOA helps keep the communication lines open -- to help our members better understand the changes and how to implement them. OBOA has partnered with BCD to facilitate these important and timely conversations at the Fall Quarterly Business Meeting on November 19th.

As requested by many, we will focus primarily on plumbing, mechanical and energy updates. Structural and electrical updates will also be provided at another upcoming OBOA meeting. Mark Heizer and Kelly Thomas will do a combined presentation on residential code mechanical updates and commercial energy issues; whole house ventilation issues and technical guides; and differences from 2019 and 2021. Andy Skinner will provide the plumbing update. Julia Hier will give a very short presentation on third-party delegation. After the presentations, we will open the floor to a moderated question and answer session.

We welcome and encourage all attendees and members to submit questions! This meeting is for you. Please provide questions in advance if possible so that we can adequately prepare and address during the meeting. Send questions to OBOA at [email protected] by November 15. Questions during the meeting will also be welcome.

I HAVE A QUESTION!
