Sprinkler System Plan Review Thi s two‐day seminar provides attendees with vital information on how to condu ct the plan review process for water‐based fire protection systems. Utilizi ng the requirements of NFPA 13 the participants will be guided through an a ctual review of sprinkler system plans and calculations. They will discuss the importance of employing a systematic review process and identify the do cuments required for a complete plan review. Finally, participants will rev iew and discuss a submittal of the hydraulic calculations presented with th e plans. Discussion points include the process of hydraulic calculations, a nd identification of the key pieces of information, and the common errors t hat are made. Rough and Final Inspection of Sprinkler Systems This one-day seminar pr ovides attendees with vital information on how to conduct the field inspect ions for new fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. Fire sprinklers and stan dpipes are installed in stages and inspections are required before commenci ng to the next stage. The codes require periodic on‐site inspections as the work progresses, to be installed according to the approved construction do cuments. This work is required to be inspected and approved before being co vered or before the system is commissioned. This course points out the visu al and physical inspection requirements of the latest codes and standards. Attendees must bring a copy of NFPA 13, NFPA 14 and IBC or IFC to class.
