2019 Oregon Commercial Energy Code Overview 

Tuesday August 18 and Thursday, August 20 
9 am - 12 pm (each day) | Via Zoom

This is a 2-day class (one registration per person) -- simply split in half for easier online attendance. 
Attendees must participate in both sessions to earn continuing education credit (CEUs).

About this presentation: This session will be split over two days. It will provide an overview of Oregon energy code history and recent energy code policy developments. Attendees will learn about the requirements of the recently adopted 2019 Oregon Energy Code (based on ASHRAE 90.1-2016), including the envelope, mechanical, and electrical requirements, with a focus on what has changed in the last code cycle. Key energy efficiency provisions will be highlighted in a discussion-based, instructor-led format. Code compliance pathways will be discussed, and resources for additional information will be provided.

This course has been approved for six hours (0.6 CEUs) of credit for continuing education within the ICC PPP.

Registration includes attendance at both sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, materials (PowerPoint slides) as provided by the speakers, and continuing education credit (CEUs) through the International Code Council Preferred Provider Program.

Upon registration on the OBOA website, attendees will receive a confirmation email with Zoom access instructions (which must be completed in advance to finalize registration). For security purposes, each registrant will receive a unique link/ID which may not be shared with anyone else.
