2023 OBOA Fall Quarterly Business Meeting (QBM)

Friday, November 17

9 am – 2 pm

Hosted at Marion County Public Works - Salem

Stay in the know with OBOA -- please join us at our next quarterly business meeting! We look forward to seeing our members at our upcoming Fall QBM on Friday, November 17th.

As always, our popular and well-attended QBM offers many timely, important association and industry updates. In addition to great programming by multiple presenters, the QBM also offers the perfect forum for valuable peer-to-peer discussion -- time to connect with colleagues who deal with the same issues you are.

Throughout the QBM multiple speakers and experts share the latest within the committees, boards, and other partner organizations within building safety. Come with questions and ideas and stay connected to your colleagues with OBOA.

Quarterly Business Meeting Agenda:

  • Welcome, Introductions and Announcements
  • President's Remarks and Treasurer's Report
  • OBOA Committee and State Board Updates
  • State of Oregon Building Codes Division (BCD) Report - Presented by BCD Administrator Alana Cox
  • Keynote Presentation
  • OBOA Legislative & Lobbyist Update
  • ICC, Chemeketa CC, PCC, OPTA, OFMA, SOICC, Region II, WPLBO, & Industry Partner Updates (as time allows)
  • Closing Remark and Meeting Adjourns

We welcome and encourage all attendees and members to submit any questions they may have. This meeting is for you and a fantastic way to get solid information from peers. Please send questions to OBOA at [email protected] by November 10th so any necessary research or coordination can be done. Questions during the meeting will also be welcome.
