All classes have been crafted for the professional development needs of OBOA members and our partners -- building officials, administration staff, plans examiners, inspectors, permit technicians, designers, contractors, architects, engineers, and any cross combination of industry professionals.

All OBOA programs offer valuable ICC Preferred Provider CEUs -- always through a great mix of important and high-quality continuing education. Register for one or more classes and spread the word about our great trainings!

Earn your ICC CEUs with OBOA

OBOA is a proud to be part of the International Code Council Preferred Provider Program (ICC PPP) network. All OBOA classes are approved for ICC PPP continuing education credit (units). Take our popular and high-quality classes for application or renewal of your ICC certifications.

The use of Preferred Provider or ICC training is required as a condition of all certification renewals, so that classes you take through OBOA directly enhance your professional development. ICC certificate holders must obtain a specified number of CEUs every three years in order to maintain their certifications and a portion of these CEUs must be obtained through Preferred Provider or ICC training. OBOA offers an extensive schedule of events for members and colleagues to earn their CEUs.

To receive ICC CEUs for your attendance, each participant must attend the class in its entirety (i.e. all six hours of instruction); partial credit is not available. This is a requirement set by ICC providership. Please review each class date and times to ensure availability to attend. A sign-in and out sheet will be distributed for each class. Attendance is tracked for each session (for CEUs) by the times you log in and log out. It is each registrant's responsibility to accurately record their attendance at programs.

An email with a handout link will be emailed to registrants approximately 24 hours in advance of the class. Attendees will receive one email per registered class. Please bring printed handouts with you if you wish to reference paper copies and limited wi-fi will be available.

****If you plan to bring a laptop/tablet to access handouts, we suggest you download your materials to your device before arriving to the class (this would also not require internet access in case spotty or unstable connection). There is no refund or credit given for partial attendance. Please note the association must meet significant financial commitments and obligations far in advance of the event which dictates many deadlines. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
